Hands-On Embroidery Class


Join us at The Fabric Shop for a three hour hands-on embroidery class with Kathy Shipp!

This will be a three part class using hoops, different types of stabilizer, sending designs from your computer to your machine, saving designs to the machine and many more tips and tricks!

Each class will teach a different segment of embroidery and we will be repeating these classes in the new year.   
You do not have to register for all three classes - if you miss one you can pick it up next time.

October 26, 2017 from 1pm - 4 pm

Class 2 - Designing and Transferring Designs from Software

  • Creating designs using Premier+ Software
  • Saving and Exporting Designs to Machine
  • Stitching out designs

November 9, 2017 from 1pm - 4 pm 

Class 3 – Understanding Stabilizers

  • Types of Stabilizers
  • Choosing the correct stabilizer for fabric
  • Common errors using stablizers

  • 40 wt. Rayon embroidery threads - assorted colors
  • 60 wt. bobbin thread, white, wound on bobbins
