2014 Block of the Month Project


We are so excited about this Quilt Block of the Month Project!  It is the Stitchers Garden #2 from The Stitch Connection.  This quilt block project will give you a gorgeous quilt at the end but you will learn so many new techniques that you can apply to other projects! 

This is a hands-on all day class from 9 am - 4 pm taught by Mickey Hollis.  Choose either the Friday or following Saturday of each month from January to June 2014.

This BOM project is also available to be shipped to you if you are unable to come to the classes.

If you missed a block or need help finishing your quilt Mrs. Mickey Hollis will be available to help you from 9 am - 3 pm.  





Cost: $250.00 with early registration by December 1, 2013

Includes:
$25.00 Registration Fee (2 yards of fabric for the backgrounds to make the different blocks)
$45.00 Finishing Kit  (4 1/8 yard fabric for the lattice, accent trim, accent border and binding fabrics)
$38.00 per class for 6 hands-on all day classes, patterns, AND 6 LUNCHES!
 

Learn exciting sewing techniques including:
PINTUCKING
* TWIN and WING needles
* BOBBINWORK has been stepped up for more challenges on the flower and leaves using
    not only #5 Perle cotton but an 1/8" polyester satin ribbon.
* TWISTED floss in front of the needle on vines.
* FRINGE or TAILOR TACK foot is used around one of the centers for a looped edging.
* COUCHING rick rack and 1/8" ribbon adds another dimension to the blocks.
* CIRCULAR attachment is used to create a flower and border.
* RUFFLER is a new foot being featured to create three flowers.
* BINDER foot is another new foot being featured not to bind the quilt but to add an
    accent edge to the corner triangles and the edge of the binding.

February Supplies:
